Bitcoin ETFs See Modest Recovery as Price Range Attracts Investment
The Bitcoin ETF market has seen a modest recovery in recent weeks, with spot Bitcoin ETFs pulling in $34 million in net inflows this week. This figure is a welcome respite from the broader hemorrhaging of capital that characterized much of 2026, with cumulative net outflows reaching approximately $4.76 to $4.84 billion as of mid-to-late July.
The recovery phase has seen seven consecutive days of total inflows, including a notable week in mid-July that brought in about $246.4 million in net inflows. Daily trading sessions have reported inflows ranging between $172 million and $227 million.
The recent price range of Bitcoin, approaching the $65,000 to $66,000 mark, may be helping to attract investment, as it seems to be serving as an on-ramp for re-entry into the market. Morgan Stanley's MSBT ETF made a notable entrance when it launched on April 8, collecting about $34 million in net inflows on its first trading day and seeing over 1.6 million shares change hands.
With multiple issuers offering similar exposure, distribution strength and fee structures have become the primary battlegrounds for investors. The pace of recent weeks suggests that sustained inflows of several hundred million dollars per week would be required to fully recoup the losses incurred earlier in 2026.
