Bitcoin ETFs See Record Inflows as Bitget Hacked for $350M
Bitcoin spot ETFs saw significant inflows, totaling $191 million in daily net inflows. BlackRock's IBIT led the charge with a single-day net inflow of $163 million, bringing its cumulative historical net inflow to over $65 billion.
Fidelity's FBTC was second with a single-day net inflow of $12.86 million, and WisdomTree's BTCW suffered the largest single-day net outflow at $4.016 million.
KelpDAO has filed a lawsuit against LayerZero and co-founder Bryan Pellegrino over a $292 million exploit in April. KelpDAO alleges that LayerZero failed to disclose security risks and weaknesses within its technology, which led to the attack.
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget suffered an exploit that drained at least $350 million in digital assets from its hot wallets. The affected assets included ETH, USDT, USDC, AVAX, and BNB.
