Bitcoin ETFs See Third Straight Day of Positive Flows
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a third consecutive day of positive flows on August 5, according to data from Farside Investors. The funds recorded approximately $244.4 million in net inflows, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) leading the charge at $196.8 million.
The inflows indicate sustained investor interest in regulated digital asset exposure, despite ongoing market volatility. While some investors may be viewing recent price dips as buying opportunities, market sentiment remains cautious.
Individual fund performance varied, with VanEck's HODL seeing outflows of $14.7 million, highlighting a divergence in investor preferences among the various funds. The data suggests that some investors are gaining confidence in Bitcoin ETFs, but caution is still necessary due to the market's inherent volatility.
