Bitcoin ETFs Slow Down After Record $998.9 Million Inflow
Bitcoin ETF inflows have slowed down significantly after reaching a record $998.9 million on Monday, September 21. The funds continued to attract capital for six consecutive days, totaling more than $2.8 billion. However, daily inflows dropped by about 81% between Monday and Thursday, from $998.9 million to $190.7 million.
The streak of positive sessions started on September 17, with the peak reached on Monday when funds collected their best daily performance of the year. This coincided with Bitcoin briefly passing $87,000. The pace then slowed without turning negative, with daily inflows divided by more than five in three days.
BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF captured about $1.35 billion over the entire streak, nearly half of the $2.8 billion entering the category. As of September 24, American Bitcoin ETFs collectively held around $108.9 billion in net assets, with a daily trading volume of $2.27 billion.
