Bitcoin ETFs Snap 5-Session Inflow Streak with $144M Outflow
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced a significant reversal in investor demand on August 10, recording a net outflow of approximately $144.6 million after five consecutive sessions of inflows that pulled in roughly $853.5 million between August 3 and August 7.
The streak, which saw BlackRock's IBIT, Fidelity's FBTC, and ARK 21Shares' ARKB receive the majority of inflows, came to an end on August 10, with a net outflow of $144.6 million breaking the run.
The sessions that followed did not recover, with a small $7.8 million inflow on August 11, followed by a $61.1 million outflow on August 12 and further net selling on August 13.
In contrast, U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs posted between $5.9 million and $6.7 million in net inflows on August 13, with the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust accounting for nearly all of the positive flow while BlackRock's ETHA saw a small outflow.
