Bitcoin ETFs Snap 9-Day Inflow Streak as NEAR Intents Hit by $3.8M Exploit
U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs have ended a nine-day streak of $3.1 billion inflows, with $148.7 million in combined net outflows on Wednesday.
BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC led the day's outflows, with $9.5 million and $125.6 million respectively, followed by Bitwise's BITB with $13.6 million.
This comes after the funds generated $57 billion in cumulative net inflows since their January 2024 debut and $970 million year-to-date, with more than $100 billion in assets under management.
Meanwhile, NEAR Intents suffered a $3.8 million exploit, with the attacker isolating to USDT on BSC, though the core NEAR Protocol, NEAR token, and other applications on NEAR were not affected.
