Bitcoin ETFs Soar as $433M Floods In on September 18
Bitcoin's price surged above $80,000 on September 18, coinciding with a sharp return of buying interest in U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs. The funds recorded $433 million in net inflows that day, marking a notable shift from the two consecutive sessions of heavy outflows earlier in the week.
Fidelity's FBTC and BlackRock's IBIT led the charge, with $310.72 million and $108.44 million in net inflows, respectively. The two funds combined brought in about 97% of the day's total, highlighting their continued popularity among institutional investors.
The renewed interest in Bitcoin ETFs has kept the total size of the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF market above the $100 billion mark, with a combined net asset value of approximately $102.53 billion. This represents around 6.29% of Bitcoin's total market capitalization.
