Bitcoin ETFs Soar as KelpDAO Suffers Major Exploit and Ethereum Revenue Surges
Crypto markets have seen significant developments recently. Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded net inflows of $160.04 million, led by BlackRock's IBIT with $134.35 million in daily net inflows. Fidelity's FBTC followed closely behind with a daily net inflow of $53.33 million.
However, KelpDAO suffered a major exploit on September 15, when an unidentified Gnosis Safe wallet user had their rsETH funds stolen, resulting in losses of around $7.73 million. The stolen assets were then distributed across multiple wallets.
The XRP Ledger set a record for the most transactions processed in a single ledger, with 3,254 transactions recorded on September 14. Meanwhile, Ethereum's revenue surged by 112.2% during Q2 2026, driven by a rebound in network fees. The protocol's fully diluted market capitalization contracted by 14.8% over the same period.
