Bitcoin ETFs Soar Past $1 Billion in Inflows as Price Tops $86K
Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US hit a new high on Monday, attracting $998.95 million in net inflows as Bitcoin's price surpassed $86,000.
The surge marked the largest single-day haul of 2026 for Bitcoin ETFs, with Blackrock's IBIT leading the charge at $381.37 million. Ark & 21Shares' ARKB added $289.12 million, and Fidelity's FBTC drew $238.84 million.
Ether ETFs also experienced significant inflows, pulling in $269.98 million across eight funds, with Blackrock's ETHA leading at $110.06 million. Other notable assets included Solana, which saw a 26.10 million dollar influx, and HYPE, which added 2.82 million dollars as its price hit an all-time high.
The market's performance suggests renewed institutional demand for Bitcoin, with many investors now sitting on unrealized gains. According to Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart, the average bitcoin ETF holder has moved back above water for the first time since January, with their estimated cost basis at roughly $81,722 per BTC.
