Bitcoin ETFs Suffer Largest Single-Day Outflow Since June on Failed Clarity Act Vote
The U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs had their worst day since June, shedding $450.4 million on Tuesday.
This was their largest single-day outflow since June 24, according to Decrypt's Bitcoin ETF tracker.
Fidelity's FBTC led the exodus with a loss of $214.8 million, while BlackRock's IBIT lost $161.7 million and Grayscale's GBTC shed $44.1 million.
The outflows were triggered by a Senate vote against invoking cloture on the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, which needed 60 votes to advance but failed with 49 in favor and 50 opposed.
Crypto markets have been waiting for regulatory clarity, and without it, institutional money tends to sit on the sidelines.
