Bitcoin ETFs Surge to $433M Amid Reversal in Investor Sentiment
A week marked by heavy outflows from U.S. crypto ETFs saw a dramatic reversal in investor sentiment, with Bitcoin and Ethereum funds posting significant inflows on September 18, 2026.
The turnaround was led by Bitcoin ETFs, which recorded $433.03 million in net inflows, with Fidelity's FBTC and BlackRock's IBIT drawing in $310.72 million and $108.44 million respectively. This marks a welcome change after hefty withdrawals earlier in the week.
Ethereum ETFs also saw a notable uptick, with $143.80 million in net inflows, led by BlackRock's ETHA and Fidelity's FETH. The trading value for Ether ETFs reached $1.88 billion, and net assets climbed by roughly $1 billion to $16.72 billion.
The resurgence in crypto ETF demand coincided with broader signals of institutional interest in digital assets, with Pantera Capital's Dan Morehead arguing that Bitcoin could benefit from a range of macroeconomic scenarios.
