Bitcoin ETFs Turn Green, But Ethereum Funds See Net Outflows
The spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen a significant turn of events in the past three weeks. After a period of net withdrawals, the funds have managed to turn the tables, with net inflows finally becoming positive. This is a welcome change, especially after the funds bled out heavily in May and June, with net withdrawals of $2.43 billion and $4.5 billion, respectively.
The recent positive trend started in the last full week of September, when the funds attracted roughly $2.4 billion in net inflows, flipping the year-to-date numbers green. However, the latest week was less impressive, with net inflows of around $83 million. This is still a positive sign, especially when compared to the modest $6.21 million inflow week that preceded it.
The spot Ethereum ETFs, on the other hand, have been experiencing net outflows for the second time in the last three weeks. The funds started the week with net inflows of $17.10 million on Monday, but withdrawals took charge soon after, with a total of $114 million leaving the funds by the end of the week.
