Bitcoin ETFs Turn Positive for 2026 with $2.4 Billion Weekly Inflow
The U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a significant influx of $2.4 billion last week, marking their largest weekly inflow since October 2025 and turning their 2026 net flows positive two months after they were nearly $6 billion in the red.
The funds took in more money than any other week since October 2025, with most of it coming on Monday when they drew $999 million. This was their largest daily inflow since Oct. 6, 2025, and the ninth-largest single day since the products launched in January 2024.
BlackRock's IBIT led the week with $1.2 billion in inflows, its second-largest weekly total since October 2025. Fidelity's FBTC added $701.7 million, its largest weekly total since Sept. 8, 2025.
The turnaround is attributed to the Treasury Department's plan to increase buybacks of long-dated bonds, which analysts point out has led to a '$4.6b tsunami of cash' into the funds. Since the Treasury first announced the buybacks, the funds have taken in $5.3 billion. Monday's $1 billion inflow was the ninth-largest ever.
