Bitcoin ETFs Witness $746M Outflow Amid FOMC Rate Hike and CLARITY Act Vote Failure
The spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US saw significant outflows on September 16, following a Federal Reserve rate increase and a failed Senate vote on digital-asset market-structure legislation.
According to SoSoValue, the net redemptions totaled $295.98 million across the 12 U.S. spot Bitcoin products on September 17, with a combined total of $746 million removed over two days.
The largest funds, including BlackRock's IBIT and ARK 21Shares' ARKB, recorded significant outflows, while Morgan Stanley's MSBT was the only product to post a net inflow.
