Bitcoin, Ethereum Navigate Stable Market Structure in October
Bitcoin and Ethereum have entered October with a stable market structure but neither has confirmed a decisive breakout. The price of Bitcoin traded between $83,020 and $83,775 before settling near $83,461, while Ethereum rose from around $2,658 to $2,689.
The market is not displaying widespread fear, but investors remain selective due to elevated interest rates and US Treasury yields. Analysts are watching the direction of inflation, Treasury yields, and central-bank policy as key influences on the market's next phase.
For Bitcoin, holding support above $83,300 is crucial before attempting a breakout. If this level does not hold, the next support areas are approximately $82,000-$82,100 and $81,100-$81,600. A sustained break below $81,100 would make the near-term outlook more cautious.
Ethereum needs to establish itself above $2,700 to move beyond its recent trading range. Immediate support lies at approximately $2,670-$2,680. If that zone holds, Ethereum could make another attempt to move above the $2,695-$2,720 resistance area.
