Bitcoin, Ethereum Prices Consolidate as ETF Demand Remains Strong
The Bitcoin price has been consolidating after reaching $86,800, with trading volume down more than 60%. Despite this, the bullish path for Bitcoin is still a break above $86,000, which would put $87,000-$88,000 next in line. If this happens, a move through $88,000 could open the path toward $90,000.
The bearish path for Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a loss of $82,000, which would expose $80,000 and $77,500-$78,000. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs hold about $109.3 billion in combined assets, with Q3 inflows reaching roughly $6.3 billion.
Ethereum, too, has seen its price consolidate between $2,640 and $2,760, with $2,700 acting as an important middle point. The bullish path for Ethereum is a hold above $2,650-$2,700 and a break above the $2,800 resistance level, which would target $2,850 and potentially $3,000.
