Bitcoin ETPs Draw Record Inflows Amid Eased Geopolitical Tensions

Crypto exchange-traded products drew $1.1 billion in net inflows last week, the strongest weekly result since early January, according to CoinShares data.

Bitcoin ETPs led with $872 million in inflows, lifting year-to-date Bitcoin ETP inflows to nearly $2 billion, which accounts for roughly 83% of the $2.3 billion in total crypto ETP inflows recorded so far in 2026.

The majority of those flows came through U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF products, which posted $786.3 million in inflows last week.

CoinShares head of research James Butterfill attributed the weekly surge to softer-than-expected U.S. inflation and spending data, combined with a temporary easing of geopolitical tensions, which together revived investor risk appetite.
