Bitcoin Eyes $79,000 as Altcoin Rally Gains Momentum
Bitcoin's price has been recovering over the past few days, reaching US$ 78,219 at one point. This represents a gain of 2.1% over the last 24 hours and a weekly increase of 1.2%. The market is now eyeing the US$ 79,000 level as traders watch for potential resistance.
The total market capitalization has reached US$ 2.69 trillion, while the 24-hour trading volume stood at US$ 91.87 billion. Bitcoin's performance comes amid a moderate improvement among cryptocurrencies.
Ethereum (ETH) is also following the recovery, up 2.5% and quoted at US$ 2,504.26. Other notable gains include BNB (up 3.8%), XRP (up 2.3%), Solana (SOL) (up 5.6%), and TRON (TRX) (up 0.5%).
Some altcoins are even more impressive, with Zcash (ZEC) rising 6.4% in 24 hours to US$ 1,467.85. Hyperliquid (HYPE) also drew attention, with a daily gain of 10.1%, and Dogecoin (DOGE) advanced 4.1%. Monero (XMR) posted a nearly 9.5% gain.
On the other hand, Bitway (BTW), XDC Network (XDC), and World Liberty Financial (WLFI) all suffered losses.
