Bitcoin Eyes Green Close, But Sustained Breakout Requires Stronger Spot Demand
Bitcoin is poised to close September with a gain of over 6.5%, its first positive month in what has historically been its weakest period.
The recovery sets the stage for October, which has delivered some of Bitcoin's strongest monthly returns, according to CoinGlass data.
However, analysts at Bitfinex warn that a sustained breakout will require stronger spot buying as ETF inflows slow and overhead supply limits gains.
A monthly close above $83,500 would preserve much of September's advance, but that level alone wouldn't confirm a reversal of the broader downtrend.
