Bitcoin Faces Further Correction in August Amid Historic Weakness
A technical sell signal has emerged on Bitcoin's three-day chart, warning of potential weakness in August.
The TD Sequential indicator flashed a '9' sell signal as Bitcoin climbed toward the $65,000 area during July, indicating weakening bullish momentum.
This comes at a time when historical data shows that August has been one of Bitcoin's weakest months in recent years.
Data shared by market analyst Ali Martinez reveals that Bitcoin has recorded losses in every August since 2022, with an average decline of around 10% over the past four years.
In 2022, Bitcoin fell 13.88%, followed by declines of 11.29% in 2023 and 8.60% in 2024, before ending August lower again in 2025 with a loss of 6.49%.
