Bitcoin Faces Short-Term Correction Warning Amid $67,000 Resistance

An analysis from CryptoQuant warns that Bitcoin is facing a short-term peak and potential correction. The analyst identified a peak zone between $66,317 and $68,965, with a subsequent correction of approximately 21% bringing prices down to $51,336.

The analysis also notes that on-chain data indicates heavy overhead supply resistance in the $67,000 to $72,000 range. This is due to the average entry price for recent buyers being concentrated at these levels, creating a formidable barrier for Bitcoin's upward momentum.

While some analysts suggest that Bitcoin could climb to near $70,000 if the rebound extends, others caution that large-scale buying should be avoided for now. The risk of a correction is greater right now due to weak trend strength, and a more favorable entry opportunity may emerge near the $51,000 level.
