Bitcoin Fails to Hold Above $64,000 as ETF Outflows Reach $225M
Bitcoin (BTC) has been trading in a narrow range near $64,000 after experiencing a volatile 24-hour period. The cryptocurrency touched a 24-hour low of $63,700 and a high of $65,406 before settling around the $64,000 mark.
The Crypto Fear & Greed Index remains firmly in fear territory with a reading of 27, down one point since yesterday. This indicates that investors are still cautious about the recent bounce off deeper lows earlier this month.
ETF outflows added context to the choppy price action, with spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recording $225.18 million in net outflows on July 24. Blackrock's IBIT fund accounted for the bulk of the redemptions, with $202.5 million pulled from the fund alone.
