Bitcoin Fights for Breakthrough as AlphaPepe Gains Traction
Bitcoin is battling to break through the $80,000 resistance level, and its price has been stuck in the high $70,000s. Despite gaining around 25% in August, momentum has stalled, with buyers struggling to hold onto gains above this key level.
The US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted nearly $1 billion in net inflows during the final full week of August, but still failed to push BTC above $80,000. A sustained move above this resistance zone could strengthen Bitcoin's bullish structure and reopen the path towards $90,000 and potentially $100,000.
However, traders looking for wider upside are rotating toward earlier-stage tokens, such as AlphaPepe (ALPE). The token has gained attention from retail buyers who can access ALPE during presale price discovery, priced at $0.02873 after raising $2.56 million and crossing 11,400 holders.
AlphaPepe's exchange story strengthened with the addition of LATOKEN as its fourth announced CEX partner, adding another potential route to centralized trading after launch. The timing matters because ALPE has not reached open-market price discovery, with the presale remaining below the planned listing price starting from $0.08.
