Bitcoin Flashes Golden Cross, But Bear Market Reversal Not Yet Confirmed
Bitcoin has flashed a golden cross on its daily chart, a bullish signal that often precedes stronger rallies. However, this trend reversal is not yet confirmed, as Bitcoin still trades below the 50-week moving average.
The recent price action was driven by Federal Reserve expectations, with hawkish signals and strong jobs data putting pressure on risk assets. Despite this, the golden cross has sparked optimism among analysts that the bear market may finally be over.
BloFin Research notes that this is the first such crossover since November 2025's death cross. Historically, the same setup has preceded significant rallies for Bitcoin. However, critical confirmation is still missing, as the asset trades above its 200-week moving average but below the 50-week mark.
