Bitcoin Flows Turn Positive as Macro Impulse Remains Mixed
Bitcoin (BTC) has seen a significant turnaround in flows and prices over the past week. According to Hex Trust's BTC Weekly Note, flows have turned positive for the first time in months, with spot BTC + ETH ETFs logging ~$1.1B in weekly net inflows.
This marks an important milestone, as it indicates that investors are now actively buying into Bitcoin rather than simply holding onto their positions. The note highlights that this is a genuine turnaround, and not just a one-day head-fake.
However, the note also cautions that the macro impulse remains mixed, with safe-haven demand and a softer dollar (as indicated by a -0.87% drop in the DXY) contrasting with weaker labour data.
BTC has broken through its former $66,900 resistance level and is now sitting at ~$78,306, still ~5.3% below the next reclaim level of $82,700. The note emphasizes that this is a key bullish development, but also notes that further confirmation is needed to confirm a full technical repair.
The note also touches on the performance of other major cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Binance Coin (BNB). ETH has moved above its former resistance level around $2,395, but still lags behind BTC in terms of flow confirmation. SOL and BNB have seen significant price increases, but lack clear flow confirmation.
