Bitcoin Forecasted to Reach $126K in 2026 Amid Global Debt Crisis

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes is predicting that Bitcoin could hit $126K by the end of 2026. His forecast is based on a growing global debt problem, rising pressure on bond markets, and potential fresh liquidity from central banks.

Hayes believes policymakers will eventually have to inject more money into the system, creating a strong setup for Bitcoin. He notes that the U.S. has around $40 trillion in debt and rising interest costs could put more pressure on Treasury markets.

The recent increase in Treasury buybacks is seen as an early sign of officials' willingness to step in if yields move too high, which would lead to increased liquidity and dollars chasing risk assets. Bitcoin could be one of the prime beneficiaries of this situation.
