Bitcoin Futures Traders Slightly Short-Sided on Top Exchanges
Bitcoin perpetual futures traders on top exchanges like Binance, OKX, and Bybit are leaning slightly short, according to recent data. The long/short ratio across these platforms shows a marginal bearish tilt, but positioning remains relatively balanced.
Across all three exchanges combined, the 24-hour long/short ratio stands at 48.55% long versus 51.45% short. Binance and OKX both report a modest short majority, while Bybit is the only exchange showing a slight long bias.
This near-even split suggests that traders are not expecting a major breakout in either direction in the short term. The current data points to cautious sentiment rather than panic, aligning with Bitcoin's recent price action which has seen relatively low volatility compared to earlier in the year.
