Bitcoin Gains Spark Pullback Concerns Amid Technical Signals
Bitcoin climbed over 1% on Sunday, but traders are eyeing a potential short-term pullback. The warning comes as a recurring pattern of Monday reversals has emerged over the past month. According to crypto analyst Ali Martinez, Bitcoin has repeatedly undone its Sunday gains on the following Monday. This trend raises concerns that Sunday's uptick could reverse again.
Technical indicators also suggest caution. On Bitcoin's four-hour chart, the TD Sequential indicator triggered a sell signal. Martinez noted that in the previous four instances of this signal, a price correction followed. However, he stressed that these patterns do not guarantee further declines, only indicating a possible short-term pullback.
The combination of the Sunday-to-Monday reversal pattern and the TD Sequential sell signal has heightened market attention. If the recent trend continues, Bitcoin could give back part of its recent gains. Still, traders should remain cautious, as neither signal provides a definitive prediction of future price movements.
