Bitcoin-Gold Correlation Surges to Six-Year High Amid Dollar Downtrend

The correlation between Bitcoin (BTC) and gold has reached its highest level in six years, according to Bitwise head of research Andre Dragosch.

This significant development signals a fundamental shift in how large investors allocate capital, with institutions no longer treating them as separate trades. Instead, they are buying both simultaneously as debasement hedges.

Dragosch pointed out that ETP flows into Bitcoin-related products have actually exceeded gold ETF flows, which he called 'remarkable' given gold's decades-long head start as an institutional asset.
