Bitcoin Holdings Surpass Market Cap for Hyperscale Data
Hyperscale Data, an artificial intelligence data center company anchored by Bitcoin, has revealed its treasury holdings. As of September 27, the company held 219.0652 Bitcoin worth approximately $18.5 million and roughly $37.5 million in cash and restricted cash. This combined position of about $56 million represents approximately 153% of the market capitalization of Hyperscale Data's common stock as of September 28.
Milton 'Todd' Ault III, executive chairman, framed the position as proof that the firm can keep executing while its flagship data center comes online. He emphasized the importance of keeping commitments to customers and bringing the initial phase online. The Michigan AI data center remains a priority for Hyperscale Data as it approaches free cash flow generation.
This treasury update lands as Hyperscale Data completes a pivot away from Bitcoin mining, having stopped mining at its Michigan site earlier. The company has now entered a long-term master services agreement tied to deploying AI infrastructure at the same facility through its Alliance Cloud Services subsidiary.
