Bitcoin Holds Above $80,000 Amid Revived Institutional Demand
Bitcoin has maintained its value above $80,000 over the weekend following a turbulent week. The cryptocurrency's price stabilized around $80,479.4 as of Sunday morning, retaining much of its recovery from earlier in the week.
The renewed demand for Bitcoin is attributed to U.S. spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recording net inflows of over $433 million on Friday. Fidelity's ETF attracted $310.72 million, while BlackRock's received $108.44 million. Bitwise and VanEck also saw smaller inflows.
This significant buying activity marks a stronger finish to the volatile week for Bitcoin. The total trading value of ETFs reached $4.67 billion on Friday, with combined net assets rising by more than $7 billion to $102.53 billion.
