Bitcoin Holds Firm Above $86K Amid Oil Price Rebound
Bitcoin's price surged to $87,350 on Monday, marking an eight-month peak. The cryptocurrency is currently trading near $86,000, a threshold it has maintained despite a pullback. This upward movement has contributed to Bitcoin's approximately 10.9% gains in September.
The recent rise in Bitcoin's price comes as oil prices temporarily dipped due to increased supply, reducing inflation pressure from oil prices. However, crude prices rebounded to around $92 after Saudi Arabia reopened its East-West Pipeline.
Onchain metrics suggest strengthening momentum for Bitcoin, with the MVRV ratio surpassing its 365-day moving average. The current reading of approximately 1.62 signals potential market dynamics shifts, similar to those seen in 2019 and 2023 rallies.
