Bitcoin Holds Firm as ONDO and Altcoins Experience Mixed Trading Day
The September flash composite PMI from S&P Global came in at 58.4, the strongest reading since July 2021. This signal of economic momentum has central bankers reaching for the hawkish playbook.
The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield climbed to approximately 5.11%, a level not seen since 2007. Meanwhile, Bitcoin traded in a range between roughly $83,200 and $87,000, absorbing macro turbulence without breaking down through its established support zone.
Among altcoins, ONDO emerged as the standout performer, trading between $0.42 and $0.50 with gains while much of the market delivered mixed or flat results. ONDO is the governance token of Ondo Finance, a protocol building out its product suite aggressively through partnerships with NEAR and Alpaca, expanded tokenized stock offerings, and a connection to DTCC.
