Bitcoin Holds Fragile Ground Ahead of Crucial CPI Report

Bitcoin's price is maintaining a fragile balance around the $76,500-$77,000 support zone as investors await Friday's CPI (Consumer Price Index) report.

The forecasted inflation rate for August is 3.4%, and higher average oil prices in the same month could potentially lead to a hotter-than-expected reading.

A stronger-than-anticipated CPI result may add pressure on the Federal Reserve ahead of its FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee) decision next Wednesday.

If Bitcoin's price breaks below $76,500, it could slide into the next downside zone between $72,000 and $74,000.
