Bitcoin Holds Ground as Avalanche Defies Market Slump
The cryptocurrency market presented a largely cautious picture on Saturday morning, September 26th, as most major coins traded in negative territory. However, Bitcoin managed to hold its ground, edging up 0.11% to $84,174.06 and providing some stability to the market.
Avalanche was the standout performer of the session, bucking the prevailing trend with a notable gain of 2.92% to $10.96.
XRP and Dogecoin were among the weakest performers, falling by 1.31% to $1.55 and 1.25% to $0.10 respectively. Other coins such as Solana and Cardano also declined, with Solana falling 0.50% to $121.42 and Cardano inching lower by 0.45% to $0.26.
Ethereum edged down 0.07% to $2,689.20, while BNB fell 0.19% to $775.31, indicating limited conviction among sellers at current levels.
