Bitcoin Holds Ground at $76K Amid Fed Rate Hike
The digital asset market demonstrated resilience on Thursday as the Federal Reserve executed its first interest rate hike in more than three years. Despite the macroeconomic tightening, Bitcoin (BTC) maintained its position just below $76,400, securing a 1.2% gain over 24 hours to reach a $1.53 trillion market capitalization.
The broader market responded in tandem, pushing the total crypto market capitalization up 1.29% to $2.61 trillion, while the Crypto Fear and Greed Index settled at 64, indicating continued greed.
As capital rotates from spot markets into early-stage infrastructure, the presale for Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) has crossed the $33.14 million mark, positioning the Layer-2 project near its $33.57 million stage target.
