Bitcoin Holds Near $84,000 as ETF Inflows Support Recovery
Bitcoin's price hovered near $84,000 on Thursday, as the cryptocurrency market balanced renewed institutional demand with a cautious macro backdrop. The global crypto market capitalization was up 0.32% to $2.87 trillion, according to Coinmarket cap. US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw strong inflows through September, supporting Bitcoin's recovery, but spot demand has moderated in recent sessions, keeping the upside measured.
Vikram Subburaj, CEO of Giottus, noted that for investors, patience remains important in the current environment, and that Bitcoin's ability to hold the 82,000-82,500 support zone will be crucial. The market will continue to take cues from US monetary policy expectations, institutional flows, and broader risk sentiment, according to Avinash Shekhar, Co-Founder & CEO of Pi42.
Nischal Shetty, Founder of WazirX, said that Bitcoin trades near $83,461 in a constructive daily consolidation, supported by bullish moving averages despite weaker momentum signals. Immediate support lies at 83,300 - 83,400, while 84,200 - 84,500 forms resistance.
