Bitcoin Holds Steady Above $77,000 Amid BOJ Rate Hike
Bitcoin has extended its gains as investors react to the Bank of Japan's decision to raise interest rates. The price of BTC hovers above $77,000 on Friday, holding steady after a 4% decline last week.
The Bank of Japan increased interest rates from 1% to 1.25%, which has been seen as a positive development for Bitcoin. However, the momentum behind the price increase is easing, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) hovering near a neutral 53 and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) drifting toward zero.
Near Protocol (NEAR) and Uniswap (UNI) have been leading the charge, recording double-digit gains over the last 24 hours. NEAR has pushed through its 100% Fibonacci anchor at $3.08, measured over the previous downswing to $1.53, and is inching closer to its 52-week high of $3.34 recorded on September 19.
