Bitcoin Holds Steady Amid Tech Stock Selloff, But Bear Market Still Expected to End
Despite a tech stock selloff triggered by weak earnings, Bitcoin and major cryptocurrencies remained steady at the end of the week. Over 83,000 traders were recently liquidated in this market volatility.
Around 87 million dollars' worth of Bitcoin was sold off as its price dropped below $64,000 mid-week, reducing its market cap to $1.285 trillion. This decline was influenced by fluctuating oil prices and regulatory progress.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw significant outflows, while Ethereum ETFs had inflows. Analysts predict that the bear market may be coming to an end, but not until mid-to-late August at the earliest. They also warn that no new all-time highs are expected until 2027.
