Bitcoin Holds Steady at $76k Amid Fed Rate Hike and Mideast Tensions

The Bitcoin price has remained steady at $76,491.7 after the Federal Reserve's interest rate hike on Wednesday.

Despite the increase in rates to 4.0%, markets interpreted Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's comments as likely heralding more rate hikes by the central bank.

Warsh struck a hawkish chord, warning that inflation still remained too high, which usually bodes poorly for Bitcoin as it increases the opportunity cost of investing in non-yielding assets.

In contrast to its usual sensitivity to rate hikes, Bitcoin showed limited reaction to Warsh's outlook and instead tracked broader gains in risk-driven markets amid easing tensions in the Middle East.
