Bitcoin Holds Steady at $78,000 as Fed Decision Looms
The Bitcoin price has been holding steady around $78,000 after a modest -1% drop over the past 24 hours. Despite this stability, traders are eyeing the Federal Reserve's upcoming decision on interest rates and its potential impact on the cryptocurrency market.
According to CoinGecko data, BTC has been trading between $77,200 and $79,200 throughout the session. Meanwhile, other large-cap cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and BNB have seen minor fluctuations, with Tron and Dogecoin taking the hardest hits at around -2% each.
However, there are signs of institutional appetite returning to the market, with Strategy buying $370 million worth of bitcoin last week. This development is a positive indicator for Bitcoin's long-term prospects.
