Bitcoin Investor George Bachiashvili Sells Miami Mansion for Record $51.5M
Georgian Bitcoin investor George Bachiashvili has made headlines once again after selling his newly built Miami mansion for a record-breaking $51.5 million.
The luxury waterfront estate, located on Hibiscus Island, boasts 10,500 square feet of living space and features multiple high-end amenities, including a dramatic foyer, a double-height great room, a chef's kitchen, and a gym.
Bachiashvili purchased the unfinished property for $19 million in 2021 and spent time transforming it into a contemporary luxury residence with South African architecture and design firm SAOTA. The completed mansion has extensive waterfront access and luxury entertaining spaces designed for Miami Beach living.
The sale of Bachiashvili's Miami mansion comes against the backdrop of an extraordinary legal battle in Georgia, where he was sentenced to 11 years in prison in absentia on March 10, 2025, over allegations that he embezzled cryptocurrency from his former employer. However, after serving less than a year, Bachiashvili's sentence was suspended following a plea deal, and he was released in February.
