Bitcoin Investors Plug $5.8 Billion Hole in Spot ETFs
Bitcoin investors have made a significant turnaround in recent weeks, injecting billions into U.S.-listed spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The result is nearly $800 million in net inflows for the year, up from a low point of - $5.8 billion on July 13, according to data analyzed by CoinDesk.
This turnaround coincides with Bitcoin's price recovery to $85,000 from under $58,000 in early June and has led some analysts to believe a new bull run is underway.
Since U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's August announcement of increased bond purchases, nearly $4 billion of those inflows have come in, with the funds attracting $2.84 billion over six straight days.
