Bitcoin Lags Behind Risk Assets Amid Iran Peace Deal Optimism
Economist Peter Schiff has observed that hopes for an Iran peace deal have boosted risk assets and stocks, but Bitcoin's price has barely moved.
Schiff noted that the ongoing 'peace-inspired mega-rally' has been a boon for many sectors, with mining stocks like VanEck Gold Miners ETF (GDX) surging by 5.155%.
However, Bitcoin's price has only increased by 1.10%, lagging behind other risk assets like the Nasdaq Composite and Dow Jones Industrial Average, which have risen by 4.77% and 3.05%, respectively.
Schiff views this stagnation as a warning sign for Bitcoin's prospects during the next risk-asset selloff, saying 'The Bitcoin party is over.'
