Bitcoin Leadership Under Threat from Quantum Computing, Warns Charles Hoskinson
Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of Cardano and an early member of Ethereum's team, believes that Bitcoin may face a significant challenge due to the advancement of quantum computing.
According to him, Bitcoin's ability to adapt to new technological threats will be crucial in maintaining its leadership among cryptocurrencies.
Hoskinson entered the cryptocurrency market through Bitcoin about 15 years ago and has since advocated for governance models that allow for changes without compromising a blockchain's fundamental principles.
'The problem with Bitcoin is that it is frozen in time. It is very difficult to change anything,' Hoskinson said, referencing his experience working on Ethereum alongside Vitalik Buterin.
