Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Stay Profitable in Current Cycle
Bitcoin long-term holders have managed to stay profitable throughout the current market cycle, according to data from Glassnode. The LTH-MVRV metric, which measures the profitability of long-term holders, has remained above 1 and is now rising again. This contrasts with past major bear markets since 2015, when the metric dropped below 1 at the bottoms of those cycles.
On the price front, Bitcoin is currently trading at $86,247.17 on the 4-hour chart. The Bollinger Bands show upper resistance at $86,623.34, while the EMA50 at $84,577.52 provides strong support. The EMA200 at $81,336.27 reinforces the longer-term bullish structure. The MACD golden cross at 447.79 indicates strong trend strength, even as the RSI at 64.57 remains neutral, suggesting a measured push toward the upper band before any volatility exhaustion sets in.
