Bitcoin May Plummet to $50K as AI Frenzy Siphons Liquidity

Arthur Hayes, co-founder of Bitmex, has sounded an alarm about Bitcoin's potential decline. He warns that the cryptocurrency may drop to around $50,000 due to a shift in liquidity towards AI investments.

Hayes draws parallels between the current AI infrastructure boom and a real estate credit bubble. He expects this bubble to burst years later, triggering significant market intervention and liquidity creation that will benefit Bitcoin's long-term price surge.

The Bitmex co-founder foresees a massive liquidity injection from governments as the AI capital spending slows down by 2027-2028. However, he also predicts that this could eventually push Bitcoin's price beyond $1 million.
