El Reno, Oklahoma's Athlon BT LLC, the company behind the city's massive Bitcoin mine, has been accused of ignoring a three-year-old stop-work order and continuing to operate despite numerous violations. According to KFOR.com, attorneys for Athlon declined to answer questions after a recent city hearing on the property.

The property, which belongs to Athlon BT LLC, has been responsible for leaking nearly 4 million gallons of El Reno's water, prompting concerns about the impact on local wildlife and the community. At Wednesday's hearing, the company's attorneys discussed the violations with El Reno city legal staff, promising to continue working on correcting them.

News 4 attempted to reach Athlon for comment but was met with silence from the company's representatives. When asked if they had any statement regarding the water leak and ongoing violations, one attorney simply replied 'no comment.'
