Bitcoin mining pool EMCD has launched its Miner Support Program to help miners navigate the industry's current difficulties. The program offers up to $30 million in support, including financing, fee reductions, and partner benefits for eligible miners.

The announcement comes at a time when the industry is under pressure, with Bitcoin's hashrate price down 50% from its peak in October 2025. According to CoinShares' Q1 2026 data, Bitcoin's hashrate price has dropped to around $28/PH/day, hitting a post-halving historic low.

EMCD Founder and CEO Michael Jerlis stated that the program is designed to help miners make use of downturns, rather than just waiting them out. 'We've learned that the operators who truly survive aren't those who just wait out the downturns, but those who know how to make use of them,' he said.
