Bitcoin Mining Output Falls for Second Consecutive Month
Three major Bitcoin mining companies, CleanSpark, BitFuFu, and Canaan, reported lower production in July. This marks the second consecutive month of decline for these miners.
CleanSpark produced 586 BTC in July, down about 5% from June's 614 BTC. Its average operating hashrate fell roughly 9%, while average daily production remained near 18.9 BTC.
BitFuFu mined 112 BTC in July compared to 125 BTC the previous month. However, its self-mining segment saw an increase to 72 BTC from 70 BTC.
Canaan experienced the largest decline, producing 46 BTC in July versus 64 BTC in June. The company attributed this drop to wildfire disruptions at its Alborz site in Texas, but noted that joint-venture mining operations continued to stabilize.
